What is RSS?

RSS is an acronym for "RDF Site Summary" or "Really Simple Syndication"

the term "blog" is short for Web Log. Web Logs are web sites that

news organizations or individuals can post text, images, links and other media

to be distributed publicly or within a private group without the knowlege of

HTML or any other type of programming or graphic design skills.

How do I subscribe to an RSS feed or a "Blog"?

Subscribing to a news feed is easy. You need a RSS Reader or RSS Aggregator.

These are applications similar in look and feel to an email client. They work

very similarly to an email client in the respect that they periodically check

an newsfeed and update the preview pane in the client window on your local machine.

What is really powerful about this technology is the abilty to check for updated
